Ant Bear Audio is a Seattle-based full-service audio company specializing in spoken word post-production.

Co-owners Tim Franklin and Jessica John have been working in the audiobook industry since 1999.  A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Tim comes from a background in music production and engineering and is also an active musician and songwriter.  Jess became involved in audiobooks while studying video art at the Cooper Union in New York City. Always an avid reader, she discovered a talent for proof-listening and later put her video editing skills to good use as an audio editor. Artistic backgrounds and sensibilities have served them well as practicing audio craftsmen.

During their decade in the industry, Tim and Jess have helped produce many award winning and nominated titles with publishers such as Random House, Audio Renaissance, Penguin, Berlitz, Macmillan, Living Language, Listening Library, Highbridge, Harper, and others. Since officially forming Ant Bear Audio in 2006, Tim and Jess have been joined by a diverse team of talented audio professionals with backgrounds ranging from video game sound design to music production to audio journalism.
